Since I have been a little kid I have a thing for fairytales. Though Alice in Wonderland isn't really considered to be a fairytale I have always loved it. I cannot wait to see the movie.... and whats even nicer is that you can buy stuff to become Alice yourself.

Yihaa finally ordered them!! Had to wait for such a long time and was so afraid that they would be out of stock but they were not. Officially I haven't received my first salary yet but just couldnt wait. I love paypal ;-)

#FEBER ME BEAUTIFUL#

Look what I found at Carolines blog, I just love the stripes, the skirt and the heels. A perfect combination for any occassion! Dress it up with thights for a day to work. Leave the jacket and the heels for a day at the beach. Add a bag and you are ready for a day of shopping!!

Last week I got a phonecall from the bank that I got the job so I really need some new clothes and this outfit will be perfect! Another thing I did last week was visiting my dear friend in France who I met in England when we were both studying there. We had a great time catching up!! The weather was so much better there than here in The Netherlands and it made me craving for spring. Can't wait to wear a nice and comfy spring outfit like this one!

Okay....I already know where my first salary will be spend on!! ;-)

#AND THE WINNER IS#

Last tuesday I received a call of the agency where I applied for a job. Unfortunately they choose two other people with more experience for the second interview. But they said that they have something coming up and that they will definately call me if that will work out ... so fingers crossed again.

Since I am totally out of money and I so need new clothes I decided to go for a temporary job. Monday I have an interview for some deskwork at the bank for like two months. Hope I will get that job.
I am looking forward to work again and ofcourse my paycheck at the end of the month ;-).

Already made a wishlist of things I want to buy when I receive my first salary.

#THE PERFECT JOB PART xx#

Yesterday I had a lovely jobinterview with a PR-company which I really like and where I would love to work. The interview went well so all I have to do now is waiting. Waiting untill tomorrow....then they will call me if they want to see me for the second interview. I really don't know what it will be. They are looking for a new account manager to replace a senior accountmanager. So I am a bit afraid that my experience level is too low. But I hope they will also see that I am a quick learner and that I would be perfect for the job. It's really a dreamjob for me so I am sure that I will work my ass off!

#LONDON BABY PART 2#

Already got back from London like a week ago....so too long I haven't updated my blog...shame on me....

Here is a short impression of our great trip. We did a lot of shopping, site seeing and more shopping hihi...Loved it.

 

 

About my jobinterview. It went very well but as I said it was more like a get-to-know-each-other talk.... They were very nice and also gave me some names and companies whom I can approach for a job. That's what I did and now I am waiting for their response. Hopefully a nice response with the perfect job!!

#LONDON BABY#

Next monday my boyfriend and I are celebrating our 10th years anniversary and to celebrate this he surprised me with a trip to London! Next friday we will leave and stay the weekend in a lovely hotel! We already booked two tickets for the most fabulous musical ever; Wicked! Ofcourse there will also be some shopping. Okay a lot of shopping.... I can't wait to visit Topshop, New Look, Primark, River Island, Dorothy Perkins and so on!

#JIMMY CHOO FOR H&M THE SEQUEL#

Yesterday I received my order from H&M. Sorry to say that I wasn't really impressed with all of the items. I really did love the black flat ballet flats but the size is just a bit too small. So no ballets for me. The bag I ordered was really disappointing, meaning it was soo small! The gladiator heels were quite nice but too much like the gladiator heels I already have. So this leaves me with the black shiny killerheels. At first I thought that I wasn't going to keep these ones but I tried them on and they fit perfectly. So only one item of the Jimmy Choo collection for me.

#EYE SPY#

#IT'S ALL ABOUT THE PERFECT JOB PART II#

Last week I told you that I was invited for an intern interview at a very nice company. The interview went very well and the more I heard about the company the more I wanted to work there. After the interview I went home with a good feeling and that feeling turned out to be right. Around 5 o'clock friday afternoon they called me and said that they would love it if I would be their intern. I was so flabbergasted and so excited that I enthusiastically said yes! I talked about it with my bf and he was also very enthusiastic. Until we came to the financial part and we had to conclude that it was not possible to afford everything if I would not have a normal salary. I fellt really dissapointed but it is how it is. So this morning I called them to tell the bad news. They could totally understand it but at the moment they could not offer me a job. So unfortunately I am back on the road again.... looking for another nice job in the PR/Communication and fashion. Hope I will fnd a nice one.

ps I did manage to find the perfect job interview outfit. On thursday I went into town (Amsterdam) but couldn't find anything. Then a good friend of mine told me I had to go to COS in The Hague. And that's what I did on friday morning and I scored the perfect dress; black with balmainlike shoulders. Love it! Will post a pic asap.

#SCARCITY MAKES PEOPLE BUY#

Jimmy Choo for H&M, a lot of people were looking forward to the launch of this special line for H&M. Since I do not have any money I did not want to buy anything although I really liked the black flat studded pumps.

But yesterday morning when I woke up around half past nine I had some kind of weird feeling. I went downstairs made myself some breakfast and checked my email on my Iphone. And then I saw the clock ticking and suddenly I could not resist to try to enter the H&M online store. At first I couldn't get in, but stubborn as I am I kept on trying. And suddenly I was in... and I felt the pressure of scarcity, and out of the blue picked some shoes -no not only the flat pumps- and a bag and put them in my online basket...and..... I ordered them. I told myself that I could always return the items or sell them (I did not checked marktplaats and Ebay before I thought that lol).  Typically an example of the cognitive dissonance theory. So I kind of fall for the pressure of scarity...stupid me....although it still does not feel that way because I so do love the items I ordered.  H&M passed with flying colours....still think it's amazing why do people so want these items....and why am I one of them?!

As you all know by now I am very busy looking for the perfect job. A couple of weeks ago I have found a perfect company and today I send them my resume and motivation. So now I have my fingers crossed for their reaction.
